About the Event
Learn CAD, computer aided design! CAD is the foundation of modern manufacturing and engineering. In this class, you will learn to make 2D sketches, extrude them to create 3D objects, change object materials and colors, and much more! Although there are a number of CAD software to chose from, we will be using Fusion 360. If possible, please follow these instructions to install Fusion 360 before the class, but not necessary.
Activity Leader bio: Ani is a high school sophomore. He enjoys teaching STEM subjects to other kids. His hobbies include coding, participating in robotics, and training in Muay Thai. In his free time, he likes hanging out with friends, playing sports, reading, and watching anime. He looks forward to spreading his interests to others and is excited to be working with the Passion Project.
Materials Needed: a laptop, either a Mac or Windows machine with admin privileges to install Fusion 360
