Sewing 101

Course Dates: Every week on Saturdays from 2:00pm-2:40pm PST during the month of September, starting September 5th.

Course Description: Welcome to Sewing 101! In this course you will learn some basic stitches, how to make and trace patterns, and how to make face masks, pillows, plushies, and more!

Activity Leader bio: My name is Alyssa and I am a junior in high school. I have always loved sewing since I was young, and I’m very excited to teach this class, and I hope you find sewing to be as fun and interesting as I do!

Materials Needed: Approximately 1 yard of fabric of choice, preferably cotton, sewing needles, thread, scissors, elastic or any yarn/string, and a permanent marker.
