Hope For Our Oceans

In today’s world, one of the biggest problem we are facing is global warming and plastic pollution. This is leading to increase concern about the health of our oceans. Yet, not many actions are being taken to restore reefs back to health! In order to change this, I believe that sparking interest about the ocean in younger generations is the first step. I will be discussing preservation/conservation of the oceans in addition to teaching the kids about marine life from my personal experience as a SCUBA diver. 

Activity Leader bio: My name is Siaa Singh, I am a high school junior. I lived in India for 14 years and moved to the US freshman year of high school. I am an avid SCUBA diver and intersectional feminist. I love working children and helping them become more aware about their surrounding problems.
